Who Is University Foot-Ball?

University Foot-Ball is a collaboration between an engineer and a doctor who teamed up to try to beat the spread in every DI college football game.

College football is our passion, and we wanted to see if it was possible to achieve a better than 50%-win percentage in every college pick.  It’s much easier to identify picks you like and give out 10 picks of games that fit a certain profile, but what about every game? That’s a real challenge and for us an adrenaline rush.  That challenge has been a fun and rewarding quest for us, and every year we strive to improve our system and achieve that goal.  Typically, if you can pick over 400 winning outcomes, you can hit the over 50% mark, as each year there are generally about 780 head-to-head DI matchups.  Join us on our quest to win over 400 games against the spread.

Look at Our Track Record

Our Algorithms have won more than 50% of the time in 3-straight seasons, picking every game against the spread in FBS competition head-to-head!

Meaning, the method has been tested on a large number of data points, not just 10, 50, or 100 games worth, but over 2,300 game outcomes.

In the most chaotic transfer and NIL season of all time, they went 389-386, for a 50.2% win %.  We learned a lot and expect to improve on that this season!

In 2023, our algorithms went 417 – 363 for 53.5 Win %

In 2022, our algorithms went 403 – 361 for a 52.7 Win %

Don’t trust big betting sites tied to sports books. They will never give you anything but picks ending in 50/50 results since the sportsbooks don’t want to pay out uneven money.

Also, don’t trust betting sites that give conflicting picks, like CBS Sportsline, where they can hide behind the fact they gave you multiple sides of the pick to choose from.

Last but not least, quit playing player prop bets where the whole bet goes down the tube based on an injury or game plan strategy to shut a player down by the opposing team.  FYI these are know as sucker bets to the pros.

Playoff Prediction 2023

We Nailed It!

We used our algorithms and data to predict the playoff teams for 2023 and look how we did!  We posted these picks to X and Instagram on March 2^nd, 2023.

We got 4 of the top 5 teams correct!  Unfortunately for Florida State their QB got hurt and we all know what happened there, uggh.

This is the insight that goes into our weekly picks, and this year all early bird signups we’ll get our best team prop picks when we post those in August!
